This wasn't just about beautifying the area; it was about creating a warm, welcoming environment where everyone could connect, learn, and grow together. The journey began months ago when they applied for funding from Action Earth and Volunteer Matters. Their goal was to build an outdoor meeting area, a space for gatherings, workshops, and nurturing the community spirit. At first, the transition from being council-owned to community-owned felt overwhelming, with numerous challenges and countless hours invested. Yet, their determination remained strong.
